Introducing our friend and big baller @jeromedsmalls – educator, founder, and author of Small Talk: One Youth, Seven Stories, Countless Lessons!! 📚💸

In college, Jerome found himself and saw the world around him for the first time. Through that process of discovery, he was infuriated by how little he actually knew about his history, his Blackness, his circumstances, and ultimately, himself.

That’s why Jerome wrote Small Talk as a way to offer advice to young people from his perspective as a fellow young person. Jerome harnesses the power of storytelling and vulnerability in his writing to break the ice with his readers around topics and concepts that are rarely explored deeply enough with the youth.

Jerome hopes that anyone from a freshman in high school to a senior in college can see themselves in his stories and take lessons with them along their own paths of growing confidence and connection.
