For anyone else who\’s getting tired of Marvel movies

If you have ever frustratingly wondered why there are so many unoriginal movie sequels, adaptations, reboots, and spin-offs, this is the book you have to read.

In 2014, Sony Pictures was hacked and all the emails in their server became publicly accessible.  The author of this book, Ben Fritz, looked through all of those emails and used them to create the narrative structure of this book. While that decision was morally questionable, it did make for a really interesting book. Fritz argues how Netflix and streaming services are revolutionizing the industry, how studios are solely relying on profitable movie franchises and how television has overtaken the movie industry and backs it all up with statistics and emails between Sony executives.Any one-sentence notes for this book would not be any more useful than anything I just wrote, all of the facts and stories are read much better in the context of the book. I recommend it for anyone curious about the entertainment industry and where it is going. Try to find it a local library or bookstore to at least skim through it!
